Illawarra NSW Armoured Combat Club
The Knights of Albion is a proudly Illawarra-based armoured combat club, bringing the thrilling sport of medieval full-contact fighting to the South Coast of NSW. Established in 2023, we're a relatively new but fast-growing team of passionate fighters, coaches, and supporters committed to building a strong community around this unique and challenging sport.
We welcome members from all walks of life and levels of experience—from absolute beginners to seasoned warriors. Our focus is on fitness, teamwork, skill-building, and above all, safety. Whether you want to train for international competition or just try something different, the Knights of Albion is a home for those seeking strength, community, and steel.
Where We Train – The Cockpit
Our training ground, affectionately known as "The Cockpit," is located at the Albion Park Showground inside the Poultry Pavilion. This is where we run our regular training sessions in both soft kit (training gear) and full steel armour. The Cockpit has become a hub for developing fighters and staging mock battles, with a strong emphasis on discipline, growth, and support.

The Cockpit – Our Home Base
We train at The Cockpit, located at the Albion Park Showground (Poultry Pavilion). This is where the steel hits the ground — literally. We’ve built this space from the ground up into a dedicated fight arena and training hub for our team.
The Cockpit is where new fighters begin their journey in soft kit, and experienced combatants hone their skills in full armour. It’s gritty, loud, and filled with energy — just the way we like it. Come visit and you’ll see why it’s earned its name.
